...My Senior Thesis : A multi-disciplinary martial arts center in a former power plant building. This design will explore the notion that encouraging diverse groups of people to collaborate will make them stronger as individuals and create a unique and powerful community. This notion relates back to one of the overarching themes in martial arts folklore - martial-arts is a tool to give the underprivileged the upper-hand.
