Following the planning massing developed by our creative director I guided my team to
develop the architectural language and unique mixed-use operations for this dense housing
facility. The massing responds to the need to break the street edge massing, allow for  maximum views from the apartments and provide private courtyards away from the busy street for retail uses. Over the retail we created a lush rooftop garden to serve as the communal lobby for all residents. As an added plus to the residents, we added communal garden spaces on each level to encourage the interaction of the residents.
