I will soon earn his Master of Architecture at University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. Working with a design / build thesis project has really helped me develop a keen interest in liveability, detail, constructability and being especially conscious of project budget.
The thesis project is focused on the potential of tiny-house design and principles to alleviate the financial barriers to housing families in rural Southeast Alaska experience. The project emphasizes giving space a measurable value rather than merely measuring its quantity, and I am building a 8.5’ by 26’ dynamic representation of “how we live,” which maximizes quality of life in minimal space - for under $13K. The project demonstrates the material and financial realities of home-making by viewing it through the lens of affordability and incorporating small architecture ethos (marine, rv (mobile), and tiny house).
I am a former Navy sailor, and my service reinforced in me many traits that would benefit your team and work environment. I am motivated, hard-working, have excellent time management skills, and I work well in a collaborative team environment. Similarly, I am proficient in both integrative digital design tools (Revit, Autocad) and hands-on construction.

Analyzed and documented ‘The Rose,’ a four story, 90-unit apartment building by Aeon together with Hope Community Partners. The project is using the International Living Futures Institute's Living Building Challenge (2.1) as a framework for sustainability design and planning. My specific focus within the framework was interpreting the biophilia petal of the LBC into a practical and replicable pattern of language.

Creating, executing and supervising of command sponsored physical readiness as Enlisted Physical Fitness Coordinator and Enlisted Fitness Enhancement Program Coordinator.
