About 

 I am currently employed at Laurence Lee Associates a well established interior / architectural firm providing interior design solutions. I am excited to introduce myself as a design professional with academic and professional experience in architecture, interior design and graphic design. I am currently in the process of attaining my NCIDQ certification. My intentions are to become a certified interior designer, I have extensive experience with the following:   

  

  • Constructing Architectural plans from schematic design to construction administration, as well as experience with construction methodology. 

  • Familiar with the following codes: International CBC, municipal code and code requirement including ADA.   

  • Proficient in the following software: Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, latest Auto Cad version, and 3D Max.    

  • Working knowledge: Sketch-up

  • Bilingual in Spanish and English. 

  • Solid understanding of an architectural plan set entailing: plans, RCP plans, details, sections, elevations and coordination between all trades.  Working knowledge of millwork and fixture details. 

  • Reporting to and communicating with the design principal and architect.  Worked closely with the architect on: design solutions, CD set, plan check submittals, construction administration, RFIs, ASIs, submittal reviews and finalizing project documents.   

  • Responsible for coherent presentation boards, attending weekly OAC meetings and client meetings.
