I am an architectural project manager with over 30 years experience. I have previously sat for the NCARB professional licensing exam and retain my eligibility, looking forward to completion and obtaining my registration.
Over the past 18 years I have worked in the capacity of Project Architect (subordinate to the Project Manager and Principal in Charge) and Project Manager (subordinate to the Principal in Charge). I possess a varied range of project experience ranging from, but not limited to Institutional, Educational, Commercial, Retail, Government, Housing (private and public), Healthcare and Aging Services.
I have run my own architectural production company where I took on projects from the back logs of my architectural firm clients using their title blocks and office standards to produce contract documents meeting their approval on time, and more importantly bringing in bids at or under project budget. I have since provided this service to the last two firms that I was formally employed with. In providing management of the production process for project construction contract documents, I am well versed in zoning, building code and accessibility requirement assessment.
I am a skilled construction detailer proficient in AutoCAD 2009 and learning the 3D applications of that particular software. I am also an experienced specifications writer/editor and construction administrator proficient in Masterspec, MS Word/Office, Photoshop and Adobe Acrobat Pro. I am a self starter as well as a quick study on all things regarding construction contract administration. I possess great communication and people skills.
