Architect/Engineer – coordinate projects from concept to close out including work with procurement, contracting, architects, engineers, construction managers and third party vendors to produce quality long lasting solutions for building and site projects with high profile and board oversite. Supervise and develop all architect/engineering activities for projects related to school upgrades as part of a capital funding program with Orange County School Board.

Responsibilities include funding authorization and project procurement of facilities upgrades, repairs, alterations and replacements for building and site systems such as roofing, paving, exterior site and civil work, boilers, hvac, fire alarm, security and access controls projects for large distribution centers over 400,000 SF and small main post offices with less than 10,000 SF.

Implementation of CAD CAFM database to seamlessly manage space allocation reporting on a quarterly basis for the UBS real estate portfolio in excess of 2 million square feet across the Americas, Canada and the Caribbean.

o Managing the Move/Add/Change (MAC) process with support from teams of electrical, low voltage, communications and carpentry contractors to reconfigure (back office and support floors in addition to the trading floor and datacenter environments) space through the move/add/change process. Held weekly meetings to track progress and discuss any changes to the planning process.

o Requirements to support headcount fluctuations of the organization for 3,500 person headcount with a one and five year strategic plan.

o Responsible for decommissioning and construction driven by growth of remote locations in Washington D.C., Los Angeles, Boston, Houston, Cayman, Nassau, and other cities.
o Assisted UBS clients in site selection through the development of a short list for new locations coordinating lease terms with clients.
o Managed large multi-disciplined groups of architects and engineers in the development of new leased space for clients – projects ranging from 5-10 mil.
