I’ve been part of amazing projects including several projects throughout Africa that bring educational and health initiatives to communities in need and award-winning healthcare projects.

My work is greatly influenced by observation and collaboration

Independent Contractor, San Francisco, CA, US, Designer

Provided architectural, graphic and web services for new downtown restaurant. Created marketing materials, operational procedures and social media platform for new businesses. Executed permitting process with City of San Francisco as owner representative. Designed and fabricated custom products.

Architecture For Humanity, San Francisco, CA, US, Program Manager

Developed and managed multiple international projects throughout Africa and South America for fast-paced, non-profit firm, including sports for social change community centers and post-disaster reconstruction. Recruited and directed 15-20 junior staff, negotiated contracts, generated financial forecasts, and collaborated with stakeholders. Instrumental in starting regional office in Cape Town, South Africa.

Served as Regional Director for large Senior Living client in Mid-Atlantic region. Managed master planning, design and coordination of new 180,000 square foot facility in Virginia while serving as Project Architect and completing construction documents on 165,000 square foot facility in Texas.

Led multiple projects in a range of phases from Schematic Design through Construction Administration for projects ranging from 400 square feet to 475,000 square feet. Created drawings, generated cost estimates, coordinated with engineers and consultants. Assisted in developing firm-wide sustainable design initiatives. Selected to represent firm at national conferences.
