About 

I hold a Master's of Architecture from Yale University's School of Architecture, also a Bachelor's of Architecture and a Bachelor's of Fine Arts both from the Rhode Island School of Design. While my resume, portfolio and references are available at my website: www.danajlaudani.com 
 
For the last decade I have exclusively focused on high-end residential design. I have been a party and principal player in all aspects of the design, coordination and construction of numerous residential projects - townhouses, apartments, freestanding new construction & extensive renovations. I have created presentations for Zoning, Landmarks and DOB submissions and understand NYC's zoning and building codes.  
 
I enjoy creating a team atmosphere with the project team and within the greater office as a whole. The seamless coordination of cutting edge technology, flawless traditional craftsmanship and the decorative arts have been an integral parts of all my projects. I enjoy managing complex projects with exacting clients and hitting budget and schedule goals.  
 
I'm a self-starter, proactive in my approach to problem solving.  I continue to expand my professional skill-sets by taking continuing educations classes. 
 
My built projects have been published in House & Garden, Elle Decor, Women's Wear Daily,  New Old Homes,  Harper's Bazaar as well as a a part of a number of monographs. Please feel free to contact me to learn more about my skill-sets and experience.

The Master of Architecture II program is for students holding a professional degree in architecture (B.Arch., or its equivalent) who seek a second, master’s-level degree in this discipline and who are interested in developing a stronger theoretical basis for their understanding of the field. This program leads to a degree of Master of Architecture (M.Arch.) and typically requires two years of full-time residency. Only 5% of those who apply will be accepted to participate in this rigorous program.

Considered to be one of the top 3 art school in western world, the nationally accredited (NAAB) and internationally recognized, RISD's undergraduate program in Architecture leads to a professional degree: the Bachelor of Architecture. The program prepares students to enter the profession by first addressing the knowledge required for making architecture and second, by underscoring the complexities of the discipline and the responsibilities inherent in practicing architecture.
25% of those that apply will be accepted to RISD, 89% will graduate.

Graduates are able to:
- Use critical thinking to build abstract relationships and understand the impact of ideas

- Investigate architectural form using spatial principles and material properties
- Comprehend technical aspects of building practices, systems and materials and apply this knowledge to architectural solutions

RISD's Architecture program has the distinct advantage of being integrated into a college known for the breadth and depth of its fine arts and design offerings, meaning that students benefit from a strong visual and humanities-based education within a progressive professional curriculum. European Honors Program, Award

1 of 3 Architecture students accepted into an exclusive program based in Rome, Italy, America's oldest forgiven residency program for artists. RISD in Rome: European Honors Program is a unique pre-graduation residency program that welcomes a select group of RISD junior and senior students, and Fine Arts Concentrators at Brown University, from multiple disciplines to spend a full semester immersed in a global and interdisciplinary environment, which is designed to feed independent and experimental studio projects.
