The Department allocated R689-million towards the establishment of the cutting-edge institution.   This initiative is a component of the department's continuous endeavors to enhance healthcare facilities throughout the province. Recognizing the necessity, the department has established a 120-bed hospital that specializes in providing tuberculosis services. This institution also receives referrals from the majority of the northern districts within the Eastern Cape province.  It is also the only facility that provides decentralized drug-resistant TB services in Alfred Nzo.  The enhanced functional program comprises an improved gatehouse facility at the entrance, along with a pharmacy, radiology department, consulting spaces, outpatient department (OPD), clinic, laboratory services, and an administration building. 

This project was initiated in a brownfield site as a solution to the existing backlog in the area.   The Department of Health recognized the necessity for a larger building that effectively incorporates architectural concepts to enhance passive design.   The architecture of the built structure was carefully crafted to avoid overpowering the surrounding context. Instead, we chose a farm-style design that seamlessly integrates with the environment.   Therefore, it was crucial for the 3D depiction to be highly authentic and effectively communicate the intended message to the recipient.   

Consequently, I was assigned the responsibility of producing a visual representation of the artist's concept. To accomplish this, I utilized Artlantis Studio 5, a sophisticated 3D animation and rendering software specifically developed for architects and interior designers.
