Celebrated Japanese architect Sou Fujimoto will be featuring Futures of the Future at Japan House Los Angeles. Known to challenge and stimulate the balance of opposites in architecture, Fujimoto's work allows viewers to enter into the realm of possibility. The exhibit showcases 100 beautifully crafted models and large-scale photographs featuring Fujimoto's past and present work.
Influenced by the individual and their relationship to the surrounding environment, Fujimoto highlights the importance of architecture's role in humanity and perception. According to Fujimoto "creating architecture is like planting seeds for the future".
Futures of the Future is a must see. Also being featured are pieces from his exhibition Architecture is Everywhere which juxtaposes small-scale human figures next to ordinary objects. Fujimoto's skillfully playful and imaginative aesthetic makes him one of Japan's standout architects. The exhibition opens on October 27th 2018 and will be on display until December 12th 2018. Admission is free and open to the public.

This looks very interesting.
For those who don't want to spend five minutes searching in vain for an address or specific location then finally googling the damned thing, Japan House is at Hollywood + Highland, on the 5th level.
citizen did you end up going? What did you think?
I haven't, but hope to...
