Chipman Design Architecture, Des Plaines, IL, US, Project Associate

Creates design development and construction document sets for retail stores such as GAP, Banana Republic, Old Navy, and Athleta. Calls different jurisdictions to obtain due diligence information, and coordinates with MEP and structural engineers for each project as required. Additionally, I organized, created, and led a 9 session AutoCAD training course for Chipman Design Architecture.

Created construction document sets for fast food restaurant projects such as McDonald’s and Starbucks using Revit and AutoCAD, as well as communicated with jurisdictions to obtain due diligence information. Worked with civil, structural, and MEP engineers for CD set coordination.

Acts as the main point of contact to set up clients with designers and books appointments, site visits, and manages designer's schedules in general at the Santa Barbara gallery as well as for the senior designer at the Thousand Oaks gallery. Goes on site visits and takes measurements and photos, and has helped with installs. Helps to space plan and designs parts of projects for designers, and has created a few projects of my own to present to clients.
