About

I have approximately thirty-eight years of architectural experience, as a Design Principal, Studio Director and Project Manager, with firms in Denver, Hartford, New York, Toronto, Los Angeles, and Florence, Italy including a three-years undertaking of my own practice.  Throughout the years, I have actively and eagerly assumed increasing and more comprehensive senior level responsibility for project design, design and project management and, in addition, for practice management.  I have a sharpened ability to solve complex problems creatively and encourage and facilitate others to do so in a team-based environment.  I have developed a keen interest and expertise in the design of education, multi-family housing, commercial/corporate, mixed-use and urban design as well as a refined aptitude for practice management.  In projects, my role encompassed the primary client contact, client guardianship, establishment and development of design direction and parameters, consultant relationships in all project phases and project management oversight from programming and concept through to construction, on a multitude of projects in variety of scale, scope, and building types.  In the office, my role has been equally thorough, spanning client development, marketing and interviews, staff recruitment to staff assignments, and project and office-wide focused financial responsibilities and accountability.
