Closest "city" is Augusta, Maine (pop. 19,000). If anyone has been a tourist in Maine they might know the coastal towns of Camden, Newcastle or Belfast, which are also nearby.
Closest city where there are actually people is Portland, Maine, and that's where most of my projects are.
I think the red maple leaf says it all. If the maple leaf flag wasn't there then I could see something like the beaver being a sculpture in Oregon, especially near OSU campus but also Salem area.... you know... the BEAVER state. State animal thing. The maple leaf flag pretty much ruled Oregon out.

It’s so Canadian, they had to put 2 Canadian flags.
Hence why and how I ruled out Oregon. If it were American flags, the other flags were harder to distinguish from Oregon's flag. A more careful look at the blue flags would tell me it isn't Oregon's flag but easy to confuse. Given the Canadian flags, I need not spend much attention to the blue flags.
Astoria, Oregon and operate primarily in the lower Columbia river region mostly in the following counties for most projects:
OREGON: Clatsop, Columbia, Tillamook
WASHINGTON: Pacific, Wahkiakum
We may do projects in some of the other counties and elsewhere. Primarily, the reason we focus in this area for most projects is practical reasons. I am not opposed to doing projects in Portland but its a crowded market and unless we add a business partner that is already in the area, it would likely be more hassle to deal with than it would be otherwise.
Do you want to see a picture of moss, rain, and mildew? Lol... there can be photos that are somewhat emblematic depending on the context you you emblemizing... like what aspect. One photo doesn't capture it all. You can what a few movies and see the town where I am back in the 80s to 90s and a few later. Sure, there are little changes here and there since that time. Perhaps, when I get a chance, I'll post some photos in reply to myself, earlier. I can show Astoria in its winter, with rain. Most likely I'll choose a day that's not raining or snowing or hailing.

Thats still Alberta? Damn. I was in the territories for a while, where going to edmonton was 'a trip down south' ... that always killed me.

Im a good 6 hours from the North West Territories Boarder, and about and hour away from the 0 mile post of the Alaska highway
That narrows it down to about 14 cities between BC and Alberta.

It looks really poorly executed compared to the renderings. Is it finished? missing a lot of vegetation from the carved facade.
