Complete gut renovation of a 3,500 square foot apartment in Tribeca. The design allowed for the maximization of the public spaces while taking advantage of the inherent properties of the space. A skylight in the hall provides for a dramatic procession from the entry into the main living area where a circular stair leads to the rooftop deck. A library / lounge is carved out of the hall directly under the skylight which opens the  space. Private rooms off the hall are cozy and quiet in contrast to the large and open public or entertainment spaces.  The kitchen was relocated so that it could be in corporated into a large living / dining / entertainment space complete with state of the art projection system for home theater.  The materials and detailing employed throughout the project have a modern aesthetic which reflects the clients' lifestyle.
