Education

Wentworth Institute of Technology, Boston, MA, US, BArch, Bachelors Of Science In Architecture

As a Senior in the Bachelor of Science in Architecture program at Wentworth
Institute of Technology (W.I.T.), I am currently enrolled in an Urbanism concentration
focusing on sustainability and urban design. With strong influence of my mentors, peers and individual academic studies I have had the privilege to learn about Architecture through a broad cultural lens. For instance, I am an alumnus of the Compostela Institute which is a 3 week intensive design program
in Santiago De Compostela, Spain. This program has a strong focus on tectonic
studies by engaging students through site visits, guest lectures, and workshops with
an emphasis on masonry. The project I worked on was a collaborative redesign of the
Camino De Santiago, which equipped me with a deeper understanding of urban design
and the importance of cultural context. Most recently I have attended the Berlin Study
abroad program run through Wentworth Institute of Technology. While in Germany
my peers and I took a Comprehensive design studio focused on creating construction
documents and studying building systems and urban environments. These experiences
and 3-D digital and physical modeling with strong use of Revit, Rhino, Autocad, Adobe
Illustrator, Photoshop, 3-D Printing, and Lazer Cutting.
