For the past years I have worked on multiple fast-paced projects in the
industrial and manufacturing industry. I hope to continue expanding my
acquired skills and knowledge into an architecture-based studio under
professional mentors who can broaden my talents and skills as a designer.
As a designer in the manufacturing of spray finishing equipment, I have
worked on multiple stages of the project. From using a modular design
concept and adapting it to meet the customized needs of our clients, creating
assembly drawings, pulling the necessary permits, and overseeing
inspections. Additionally I have contributed to develop the company’s
catalogs, brochures, and website-- all the while handling the day to day
aspects of a business.
My aspiration is to further develop the strengths I have developed as an
technical designer and morph into the eclectic architectural designer I know I
can be--using the design skills learned at Cal Poly Pomona. As a
detail-oriented individual who exceeds the expected and communicates
effectively, I can work amicably within a group setting, meeting rigorous
deadlines.
