About 

Aditi Shetye is a 3rd year M.Arch student at GSAPP, where she is the school's nominee for the Paul Katz KPF Travelling Fellowship Award. She is also currently a Teaching Assistant for the First Year Core Design Studio as well as a part-time researcher at the IDC Foundation Housing Lab at GSAPP. 

She obtained her BFA in Architectural Design (with Double Honors) from Parsons School of Design in 2016, after which she has worked as a Full-Time designer in New York for 3 years before continuing her education at GSAPP.

Her interests in architectural design lie within the intersection of sustainability and equity, which are seen in various of her design projects and research work through explorations of new material ecologies, networks of social and environmental restoration, and equitable, healthy housing possibilities in NYC.

- Built public facing interactive web tool for identifying Accessory Dwelling Units potential across NYC and calculating potential cost of development.
