I am passionate about buildings, construction and design.  I have been very fortunate to have worked with many talented, smart and creative people who helped me become a confident professional.  I am proud of my broad range of skills and abilities, having worked on varied projects ranging from historic preservation on some of the nation's treasures to new iconic buildings.  I believe that our physical environment can be transformative, and I strive with serenity as my goal.  I am a member of the AIA and a LEED AP.

Mu Xin Museum: Wuzhen, China
• Project Architect for all phases: Schematic Design, Design Development and Construction Documents.
• Refined and developed the building’s site strategy, scope and aesthetic.
• Produced and developed Architectural Exposed Concrete and stone found throughout the museum.
• Produced and developed original interior design details and original exterior technical details working closely with the firm’s Principal.

Port Authority of New York and New Jersey; various projects
• Project Architect in charge of assessing historic structures, managing client’s goals and budget.
• In charge of developing strategic decisions for renovation and restoration of critical infrastructure facilities.
• Coordinated and collaborated with other design team members to produce written and graphic documents communicating the client’s agenda and intent.

Richmond Health Center; Staten Island, New York
• LEED Administrator for a LEED Silver project.
• In charge of supporting and integrating sustainable goals with the design of a 40,000 square foot renovation and restoration of a community health facility.
• Educated team members about green building design and streamlined the application and certification process.

Federal Reserve Bank of New York; New York, NY
• Produced demolition, design development and construction documents for the renovation and restoration of the 10th & 11th floors of a York & Sawyer design dating back to 1919.
• Primary responsibilities included developing and maintaining the drawing set, interior elevations, AV details and documentation and evaluation of historic elements.
• Collaborated with conservators to preserve and relocate historic elements.
• Coordinated developed and integrated consultants’ work into project.

U.S. Capitol; Washington, DC
• Co-Author of Historic American Buildings Survey for the Old Senate Chamber which was ultimately sent to the permanent collection of the Library of Congress.
• Co-Author of Historic Structures Report for the Small Senate Rotunda and Senate East Vestibule.
• Developed a revised Masterplan for the comprehensive renovation and restoration of the Capitol Building, including the House and Senate Chambers, private offices and public corridors.

Old DC Courthouse; Washington, DC (Renamed D.C. Court of Appeals after construction)
• Produced design development and construction documents for the renovation and restoration of a George Hadfield designed courthouse dating back to 1820 juxtaposed with a contemporary steel and glass entry pavilion.
• Performed extensive survey work and historic assessment.
• Coordinated, developed and integrated consultants’ work into project.

Riverdale Country School; Bronx, NY
• Produced demolition, design development and construction documents for a new student center, cafeteria, and lounge above the existing gymnasium building.
• Primary responsibilities included plan development, improving circulation, building sections, egress/ADA/code compliance.
• Coordinated, developed and integrated consultants’ work into project.

World Trade Center Redevelopment; New York, NY
• Coordinated and collaborated with the design teams for the new office towers, including Richard Rogers, Norman Foster & Fumihiko Maki.
• Coordinated and collaborated with other stakeholders, including the MTA, Adamson Associates Architect, the Downtown Development Partnership & the Westfield Group.
• Coordinated, developed and integrated consultants’ work into project.
• Retail program and infrastructure for the East and West sites along the new concourse connecting the Path, the MTA and new office towers from design development to construction documents.

Museum of Islamic Art; Doha, Qatar
• Produced design development and construction documents for a contemporary I.M. Pei design, including exposed architectural concrete, interior and exterior stone detailing.
• Primary responsibilities included plan-section-elevation drawings integrating stone details with structural, mechanical and waterproofing systems, building sections, fountain details, as well as loading dock and basement development.
• Coordinated, developed and integrated consultants’ work into project.
