PLATTE COUNTY MEMORIAL HOSPITAL, Additions and Renovations

Multi-phased project comprised of 15,000 sq. ft. of renovated space and 12,000 sq. ft. of new construction space consisting of the following enlarged and improved areas. The cost of construction was $18.5 million for this complete renovation of most of the functions of the hospital including: #A 24- bed Inpatient Unit with state of the art Universal Inpatient Rooms and LDRP Rooms, and improved Physical Therapy and Pharmacy facilities; A Surgery Suite with a 600 sq. ft. Operating Room designed to accommodate state of the art scope equipment and with Outpatient Prep and Recovery facilities; A Radiology Department designed to accommodate state of the art Radiology and CT equipment, and with significantly enlarged patient and staff support spaces; An Emergency Department with a state of the art Trauma Rooms and expanded Exam/Treatment and Support Areas; Clinical Laboratories, with expanded Laboratory and Support Spaces; Expanded Public facilities, including Outpatient Exam and Treatment Rooms, improved Conference, Waiting and Toilet facilities and improved Admitting and Registration Areas; A new Central Energy Plant to replace outdated facilities including new boilers, pumps and a larger emergency generator.
