SUNY Delhi Citizenship Award, 1st Place
The Office of Student Rights & Responsibilities presents the SUNY Delhi Citizenship Award annually to deserving students. The purpose of this award is to recognize a SUNY Delhi student who possesses the qualities of a good citizen, that is, a sense of responsibility to the campus and local community and a belief that acting for the benefit of others is right and good, regardless of self-recognition for such action.
Dennis Almeida was honored for being a mentor to younger students in the Architectural Technology and Architectural Design & Building programs. Dennis was nominated by professor Janet Ho for his effort in making new students feel welcome to the community and exhibiting unwavering positivity and energy for the college and the Architecture programs.
