Education

University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, PA, US, MArch, School of Design

Ryan’s thesis at PennDesign and current interests are in the possibilities of what Post-Digital aesthetics and materialization mean for architectural design, given that we are in a period where the “digital” has permeated almost every aspect of popular culture. During his time as a student at the University of Pennsylvania School of Design, he worked as a graduate assistant to second year design studios and as a graduate assistant to the second year visual studies sequence. He was also a research assistant for the duration of his education where he co-edited a publication, and did a series of drawings and renderings for a second publication. He was the recipient of the 2018 Faculty Prize upon graduation.
