Longtime LA chef Josie LeBalch, of Josie Restaurant fame, opened this neighborhood gastropub to compliment her already beloved fine dining restaurant next door.

Utilizing the same kitchen, Next Door is a casual, industrial setting yet with warm and welcoming touches.  The original wood ceiling was left exposed, lit with theatrical lighting and galvanized pendants.  Pops of red feature in the pendants at the bar, which also includes an extensive display cabinet and an adjoining charcuterie bar.  Seating is casual and relaxed, at a cozy banquette or small tables, or right at the concrete-topped bar.  Dark millwork houses an extensive collection of wine bottles perched atop reclaimed rebar, while a full-height wall of corks creates an impressive display.
