Richemont Italia Headquarters

The main purpose of an office building is to support its occupants in the performance of their tasks and activities, preferably at minimum cost and to maximum satisfaction. Office space is about productivity, culture, flexibility, architecture, design and costs.
The building chosen for the new Richemont Italia Headquarters is located in the north part of Milan. This part of town has been the subject of much upgrading including many examples of refurbishment and the construction of  several new functional office buildings. The L-shaped construction in Via Be-nigno Crespi 26 is a four storey building formed by two wings. A big one that faces North towards the street and South towards the courtyard and a small one that faces West towards the street and East towards the courtyard. The two wings are connected by a central element conventionally called “totem”.
The distribution of functions, brands and sectors follows the subsequent scheme:

Basement floors:
Parking lots, technical areas and Richemont Bistrot facing the dedicated garden.
On these floors there are all the stock-rooms of the principal brands and businesses.
The positioning of the Richemont Bistrot at the basement floor allows the employees to live in a completely separate area from the office spaces and it has a private garden of around 190,00 sqm with trees, vegetation, tables and a deck with beach umbrellas.

Ground floor:
In the “totem” there are the Main Entrance and the Reception, a big representative space where employees and visitors are greeted.
This space emmerces visitors in the Company philosophy and transmits the perception of the organization and its high quality products and services.

Floors above ground:
In the three floors above the ground floor there are the offices for the different brands of the group. On every floor there are shared meeting rooms and break areas
On the third floor, in the “totem”, there are four meeting rooms divided by operable partitions that can be quickly turned into one big auditorium for 100 people.
This is the heart of the shared areas of the company, suitable for formal interaction and different meeting configurations (theatre, cabaret, horseshoe) for different types of meeting.

4th floor:
On the fourth floor there is the presidential meeting room facing the terrace. This space – and, on days when the weather is good, the terrace – can also be a workplace for activities such as office parties.
