Vertical Addition to an existing Park Slope rowhouse to create a split two story penthouse roof deck for all tenents, and a private deck for the owners featuring views of Manhattan, Downtown Brooklyn, the Brooklyn and Manhattan bridges, The required rear setback becomes a private deck extension of the main living space.

Existing building 2nd and third floors needed to be combined into a single unit to overcome zoning issues.  We took the opportunity to create a four bedroom duplex with an interior studio space for entertaining or plyroom / den accessed from the main access stair.

The existing pinched condition on the first floor accessing the cellar will receive a renovation to a newly cleared and planted rear yard through an expanded cellar access, recreation room and expanded rear openings to enhance natural light.
