This museum project was developed for a design competition in 2007. The building is aligned on axis with the Statue of Liberty and is uniquely designed to sit on four corner nested pilings. It features great views in all directions, near rooftop balconies, a structural central elevator core that holds floors in place organically similar to a tree configuration, a concert/meeting hall that overlooks the junction of the East & Hudson rivers and has a very unique hydro-thermal heating and cooling system.
