Cotulla Community Center

CCC is a Community and Disaster Relief Center for the
city of Cotulla, Texas. It is a design competition put
on by the city of Cotulla. The project is 12,000 SF and
the program includes: visitor center, exhibit space,
reception hall, classrooms, flex-space, kitchen, bathroom
and shower facilities, and disaster relief space.
The city of Cotulla served as a disaster relief center
after the Battle of San Jacinto. The concept was developed
from the idea of war barracks, temporary tent
structures that housed civilians during the time of war.
