This program proposes one way to integrate the UMass Amherst Achitecture, Construction Technology, and Landscape departments in one interconnected space.  The initial structural concept is one of heavy form transitioning to light tectonics on the upper levels, both as a celebration of building technology but also to convey a sense of elevation and progress as students progress through year 1 studios in the lowest level, to senior and graduate studios at the top.
