A building to house the Virginia Tech Crew Team, this acts as a modified shoreline for the lake. Half of the building is in the lake, with one wall opening out onto a submerged colonnade. This canal acts as an entryway to the lake for the crew boats. 4ft thick reinforced concrete walls separate the vast storage space from the tumbling lakeside organic matter. Serving spaces such as stairs and closets are tucked into the walls.
