Glass Panel Installation

A material exploration with glass to find a unique quality. I really liked the shattered look and pattern of glass and so I explored a way to control that effect. By taping the back of the glass pieces before I broke them, they would stay together. Then it also allowed me to be able to shape them slightly, which causes them to catch light in interesting ways. Then I applied an artist gel medium to the top to hold everything together and that added the sort of wavy liquid like texture.

This could be used in a glass curtain wall system as an infill in the mullions, or as a privacy screen over a window.
