Senior Project Manager Registered Architect and with a diverse portfolio of design projects varying in scale which includes laboratories, science centers, institutional, and civic projects. Management of new building construction, seismic/MEP upgrades, renovations and historic projects. Strong administrative skills used to orchestrate the business of architecture and engineering throughout the lifecycle of the project.

Marketing efforts including proposal writing and interview processes to obtain new business. Initial assessment of project objectives to prepare project approach, scope of work, fees, and the final negotiation of contracts.

 

Client Relations

Identify client expectations. Meet firm’s obligations for professional services with the understanding of the client’s the scope, services, and budget. Assist Owner with local and state governing agencies and approval processes. Maintain and continually improve client relations.

 

Staffing Supervision

Determine staffing appropriate for the project, and take charge and responsibility for guidance and direction of the project staff. Create supportive working conditions and monitor staff performance effectively with periodic reviews. Delegate team responsibilities and provide direction.

 

Project Management/ Construction Administration

Balance design, schedule and budget to meet client expectations. Create project plan and realign as needed to update schedule milestones. Determine the engineering team and manage performance and strategy for accomplishing work effort. Manage project’s progress costs and quality of goals. Develop agendas and lead project meetings; determine action items, and assign tasks. Lead point of contact for the client and project team during design phases, construction, and closeout.
