My name is David Almeida.  I received a degree in architecture from the Faculty of Architecture at the University of OPorto in 2006. The university is a prestigious European university, consistently at the top of Portugal’s academic league tables. 

At the University of Oporto I had the privilege of studying under a number of  highly respected professors such as: Alvaro Siza Vieira and Eduardo Souto de Moura - both of whom are Pritzker awarded architects. 

I define myself as a dynamic and ambitious architect, with more than eight years experience in various projects. I have contributed to and led projects from design concept to construction in a wide range of sectors: luxury houses, home units, industrial and commercial buildings, urban design, heritage and conservation, and landscape design.

I possess a very high level of technical and computer skills which includes advanced knowledge of AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Adobe and other graphics communication programs.

My attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills ensure that every project we work on is done accurately and to the highest possible standard. My verbal communication skills and positive attitude makes me effective communicators with all clients we work with.  I am fluent in English and Portuguese and have a range of ability in several other European languages.
