About

I am a  graduate from California College of the Arts in San Francisco. I have about 10 years of experience working in architectural offices. I was born in and around Southern California but moved to the bay area in 2007 for architecture school.  I have much interest in large scale commercial projects including hotels, hospitals, museums, airports and office/industrial buildings. I have had the opportunity to travel to Europe for two different study abroad programs and hope to return; Italy is next on my list.

Interactive Design Corporation, Palm Springs, CA, US, Associate

I currently manage multiple projects from public facilities to non-profit organizations and multi-family housing. I work on all phases of the projects from RFP to construction administration and closeout. Many of our projects are funded with Federal Grants which requires much paperwork and organization. I work daily on construction documents, reviewing submittals, visit construction sites, manage projects, coordinate with consultants and communicate with Clients. I work a lot with photoshop and indesign for presentation drawings throughout the phases of design. I also have experience with City Agencies to obtain Planning Approval and Building Permit.

I worked daily with autocad composing a drawing set for a new elementary school in Oakland, CA. I drew details, elevations, plans and sections. I experienced much construction management for a 911 police dispatch center in Stockon, CA. I was the project coordinator; helped with meetings, notes, submittal and RFI coordination, site visits and punchlist.

I spent much of the time building physical models and designing interiors for a seven-star hospital in Abu Dhabi. I used autocad daily and also had the opportunity to develop hand drawings for the client.

Jul 2008 - Mar 2009

Interactive Design Corporation, Architectural Associate

I worked closely with the Architect on several projects including low income housing, youth center and medical facility remodels. With daily use of autocad I composed drawing sets and coordinated revisions. I reviewed pay applications, submittals, RFI's and helped compose ASI's.
