About

I was born in Hinsdale, Illinois as the second-born son of two immigrants from Yugoslavia.  Having a strong connection to a Mediterranean background, I have always found history and ancient civilizations fascinating, specifically the Ancient Roman.  My fascination translated into two professional degrees, civil engineering and architecture.  Both degrees gave me a distinct appreciation for the complexities of design and construction.

In engineering, I worked in QA/QC as a construction materials inspector, developing an eye for detail and precision.  In architecture, my engineering experience added to my designs and my ability to work in a team environment.  I entered the architecture profession through on-site construction management and continued in construction administration from an office.  It was my excellent organization which allowed for extra duties including Lunch-and-Learn coordinator, Product Librarian, and Revit Specialist.

I use Revit in the same way I administer a construction site, always organized, and as a result, I am fast modeler.  BIM Modeling has become my great interest, as it stretches my understanding of construction and architecture beyond the limits of time and space.  It is possible only in a digital reality.
