About

My desire to design spaces began at an early age. This desire inspired me to pursue the study of architecture and environmental design at Texas A&M University.  While there, I was able to gain valuable worldwide experience through a faculty-led, study abroad program in Barcelona, Spain.  During this semester abroad I was involved in both an urban-planning project and the design of a modern art museum.  In addition our class toured Europe, experiencing great architectural masterpieces first-hand.  This experience had a profoundly positive effect on me, both as a designer and as a person.

An increasing interest in designing interior spaces led me to Rhode Island School of Design for graduate studies.  This program focuses on adaptive reuse of existing buildings.  As a part of my studies at RISD, I also participated in another study abroad program in Copenhagen, Denmark.  While there, I was involved in the designing of a lounge for artists and designers on the harbor.  In addition, through faculty-led travels to Sweden and Finland, I experienced the beauty of Scandinavian design.

Currently, I am in my last semester at RISD, completing my master’s thesis in Interior Architecture.  After graduation, I plan to pursue a career in architecture or interior design, and am looking forward to what the future holds for me!
