About

As a husband and father of two, I know patience and responsibility, and how to adapt quickly to changing environments. I love to learn, laugh, and experience knew things on a daily basis. I will research something that I hear just to know the facts behind it. I am an outgoing person with the ability to talk to just about anyone in any setting, and enjoy creating new personal and professional relationships. Although I have only listed a few of my notable traits, my ability to learn quickly, work in group settings, and the ability to manage my efforts independently makes me a great candidate for a position with your firm.
Currently, I am employed as an intern architect at HTK Architects, a local architecture firm in Topeka. I graduated from Kansas State University in 2009 with a Masters of Architecture, and I have been with the firm since December 2007. My current duties include project management, leading teams of 2-3 people, meeting with clients and consultants, coordinating LEED submittals, and working on other various types of contract and project documents quickly and concisely.
My attitude towards responsibility, initiative, and environmental design is demonstrated through a small independent design firm I also currently manage in my personal time. As a respected professional yourself, you understand that balancing a career, family, and independent professional ventures requires business and client relation skills above and beyond that typically sought for my position.
