About

Graduated just this past May with a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from Arizona State University. I am currently seeking a job with an architecture and/or interior design firm that will enable me to take on responsibilities, get involved in all phases of the design process and a provide me with challenging but rewarding experience.

Through university course work, I have been introduced to:
. Residential, hospitality, healthcare and retail design
. Architecture, art and interior design history
. Acoustics and lighting
. Interior codes
. Construction documents/methods
. Facilities management
. Professional practice

Extracurriculars activities included participation in Alpha Rho Chi and IIDA.
Satyros Chapter of Alpha Rho ChiA national, professional, co-ed fraternity for students of architecture and the allied arts.
As a member of IIDA I participated in our student mentoring program.

In Summer 2012, I interned for the top 100 firm EDG Interior Architecture & Design in San Rafael, CA working with the designers on multiple projects and providing assistance with 3D modeling, rendering, FF&E selection, construction and presentation documents.

I believe good design whether it be 2d or 3d is that which addresses every sense of the body. Good design makes you want to touch and interact with it and engages your sight through its complexity or even because of its simplicity. It could have a soundtrack that reflects the energetic frequency of the space or piece, as well as a scent and even taste as we imagine a design being cool and metallic, warm and woody, fresh and sparkling… Above all believe good design stirs an inexplicable feeling in our subconscious, allowing our past experiences and emotions to inform our experience of the design and giving it a personality of it's own.
