I graduated from Pratt Institute with a Master's of Science in Interior Design, where I completed the Exhibition Design Intensive program in my last year focusing on exhibition design, interactive design, set design and window displays. My Bachelor's degree was completed in Architecture at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Cairo in addition to two years of post graduate studies in the same field.
Being well-traveled and residing between New York and Cairo gave me the chance to experience the diverse cultures and aesthetics expressed through their designs. The different kinds of applicability throughout the world combining the beauty of interior design and the comforting practicality of it with the effective use of space that varies from one culture to another triggered my creative design impulses.
I am very much interested in the beauty of fusing functionality with aesthetic integrity for the sake of preserving the best of the past while moving forward with the best of what new technologies have to offer.
My fusion of studying Architecture, Interior and Industrial design was a process of unraveling of potentials and giving free play to the creative mind while considering the practical human demands that are at the core of my approach.

Green Week '15 - Student Award, Award
Award received for a Green Week Installation that was displayed on the Pratt Institute Lawn made out of 1,700 35mm slides to raise awareness to the waste created by rapid technology.
