Experience

Taracea Custom & Ebano Soberon                                                          August 2010 – September 2011
Showroom Manager.
Designers, manufacturers and distributors of high end furniture and Architectural interiors.
I was responsible for the showroom operations. I was in charge of sales as well as customer service. I was responsible for keeping the showroom and display up to date. I represented the company in front of new clients. My job was to educate the clients about the company, products, our capabilities and how we can service them. I established relationships and develop trust with the customers by inquiring on their needs and presenting different possibilities for their projects; that might include creating sketches to start the creation of a piece or a product. Create and organize presentations, quotes, and meetings to develop solutions for the projects. Do presentations, estimates, quotes and other paperwork related to the sales, to the final sale. Revise shop drawings to make sure there are in accordance to the client specifications.  I coordinated the communication between  the different departments in the company (accounting, design, production, logistics and factory) to have the project
move from beginning to completion.

Today’s Custom Design.                                                                                 February 2010 – August 2010
Managing, Design & Sales.
High End Custom Design furniture, Fitted Cabinetry and Interior Design.
I am involved in the design and manufacture of high end custom furniture – from hand rendered conceptual sketches to computer generated CAD drawings and construction documents, and choosing of exotic finishes. I deal directly with the costumers, find out what their needs and wants are, and how we can incorporate a new piece in their existing environment or help them create a new environment where all the pieces interact as a part of a whole. I visit client’s homes to determine what is needed for each space. Our job is not limited to the furniture we create; I get involved with the choosing of color and materials for developing of the whole space. We also have the capacity to work and adapt according to the client’s budget. I am in charge of coordinating the logistics of the project, handling communication with the client, our suppliers and subcontractors in the process of completing each individual project. Making sure all the parties involved are aligned and working harmoniously.
