DAVID WISEMAN

Naperville, IL, US

About

Briefly, I graduated from the Boston Architectural College on May 29th, 2010 with a Masters degree in Architecture with a Nomination for Commends.  The "concurrent" program of study at the Boston Architectural College required that I work at an architectural firm during the day, while taking classes at night.  The BAC's program allowed me to pay for school and gain all of my NCARB hours to sit for the ARE upon graduating.

While pursuing my degree,  I worked at a small design/build firm located in Cambridge, Massachusetts for five years. At Davis Design & Development, I worked on large high-end residential projects with a strong focus on sustainable design and an 'archineering' build aesthetic.  The position provided experience not only in the office on design and construction drawings, but valuable experience in the field.  My on-site work included, supervising construction, managing subcontractors, conducting site layout and surveying, as well as managing bank requisitions and funding.

In addition to the work described on my resume, I possess a strong skill set in advance renderings, design of unique solar arrays into structures and first hand experience of site placement and installation of large wind turbines.
