About

Having operated an ecologically focused design construction practice specializing in interiors and furniture, I both recognize a disparity between the built and natural environments and have faith in the potential for resolution by design. Because my design and construction practice offers services that are comprehensive in scope and tailored to a specific client, frequent project specific innovations are expected. In addition to the addressing the routine challenges that inherently face a design construction project in the field, working corroboratively on projects with open parameters has provided the bridge for projects that aim to integrate social and environmental issues. My tectonic explorations are driven by the availability of an under-utilized cache of materials potentially equal in quantity to the wildly escalating volumes of waste produced by inadequate disposal infrastructures. Being a primary precept in my design facilitations, the expression of responsible material use is in relationship to the development of reproducible tectonic systems that reinforce links back to their origin.
