The Fisher Brothers "Beyond the Centerline" ideas competition, shortlisted 17 designs that were selected from a pool of over 150 entries submitted by architects, artists, urban planners, landscape architects, and students. The design competition asked entrants to re-envision and revitalize the medians on New York City's Park Avenue between 46th and 57th Streets.
Urban Timber: From Seed to City Finalist, Grant
On display, and the result of an open competition, are four winning projects proposed by emerging architects featuring innovative structural uses of timber. The winners collaborated with mentor architects, engineers, and material suppliers to install their unseen installations in the gallery.
