Eddie Fortuna began his architectural career at Texas Tech University in 2003. He engaged in projects such as the late Michael Mussotter's controversial Doggy [in] Style as well as an urban revitalization project in Colon, Panama.

Upon completing his undergratuate studies in 2007, he joined the Aviation team at Corgan Associates where he worked on several airport terminal projects such as:Love Field Revitalization, SMF, and DFW.

In 2009, Eddie left Corgan to pursue his Master's Degree in Architecture at Texas Tech University. Though he returned to familiar ground, the pedagogy was much different than that of his undergraduate experience. He became exposed to parametric design and digital fabrication, while reinforcing notions of design based on culture and layering.

Since receiving his M_ARCH, Eddie has worked with his father's general contracting/remodeling company performing fabrication as well as providing architectural drawings. He is also currently working under Dan Shipley at Shipley Architects aiding in the design, production, and fabrication of Shipley's highly acclaimed projects.
