AmeriCorps National Civilian Community Corps is a team-based, residential, national service program to meet urgent community need in disaster relief, environment, education and construction.

Selected Accomplishments
• Habitat for Humanity of Greater Baton Rouge. Constructed 3 homes from ground up, acted as a site supervisor for several work sites at different stages of construction
• Saint Bernard Project. Site supervisor, leading volunteer groups reconstructing 25 homes flooded by Hurricane Katrina. Tasks ranged from mold remediation through drywall and mudding
• Catalina Island Conservancy Trail building and worked with the maintenance crew constructing volunteer camp structures

NYIT Beijing, China Superblock Design Competition, 1st Place

A collaborative design competition. One full semester was dedicated toward studying and developing a full superblock. The designers were required to develop the infrastructure, landscape, and building series in order to accommodate typical lifestyle requirements.
