Jefferson Sheard Architects were appointed for full architectural coordination of the scheme  and as
lead consultant from RIBA Stage D to completion.  The appointment of this project is a testimony
to the company’s ongoing accomplishment within this sector as we have been appointed directly
on the back of the successful design works and completion of the student accommodation project
at Tufnell Park.

This scheme is of mixed use, student accommodation occupies the majority of the building with
educational teaching facilities housed in the lower and ground floors.  The building consists of three
primary  blocks  tiered  in  height,  two  of  these  provide  a  sustainable  element  with  sedum
roofing.

On  receipt  of  planning  permission  Jefferson  Sheard  detailed  the  drawings  for  buildability  and
provided both enhancements and amendments to the design to enable the build to start on site.

Whilst leading the project to completion Jefferson Sheard took into account the comprehensive design, acoustic and sustainability elements prepared by the initial design team.
