About 

Young mexican Architect currently living in Los Angeles, CA.

Recently obtained her Masters Degree from Greg Lynn's SUPRASTUDIO at UCLA. Born and raised in Toluca, Mexico.

After obtaining her Bachelor of Architecure Degree from Universidad Iberoamericana, she worked for a couple of years at Essmed Arquitectura in Mexico City (Haworth Architectural Interiors Dealer).

During her Masters Degree, she worked on projects related to moving architecture. With Boeing as a partner, she got to apply her motion concept to a Future Factory for Boeing and to a Flying Room hotel, making her look at Architecture from a whole new dierent perspective.

During her Bachelor of Architecture she took a studio instructed by Enrique Martin-Moreno and Jerey Inaba with graduate students from SCI-Arc. For some time, she transferred to Tijuana Campus where she started her interest about the relationship between Mexico and US at the California border. Since 2009 she has been an associate at Estudio Santander, a small rm in San Diego, where she gets to participate on what she is most passionate about: international competitions. One of their projects just won a 2013 Architizer A+Award.

Architizer A+Award 2013 winner project for the Architecture and Aging category.
Competition made by the AIA (American Institute of Architecture) and the Air Force Village
at San Antonio, Texas. Published as finalists of more than two hundred submitted projects.
Project to be built, the ecumenical Chapel of the villas for retired military men and women
from the air force in San Antonio, Texas. Contest organized by the All-Ukrainian Jewish
Congress and Ukranian Joint Jewish Community. Published as finalists.
Project to be built, the Museum/Memorial the Barranca of Babyi Yar in Kyiv, Ukraine.
Currently building an 8 Loft/apartment complex at Tijuana, Baja California for a private client.

Essmed Arquitectura, Mexico City, Special Projects Department and Director’s Architectural Assistant

Design, specify, place orders and supervise installation for VIP client’s offices. Train new staff.
Assist the General Director on several meetings with VIP clients. Coordinate Operations and
Installation Departments to meet the clients deadlines.

From 2004 to 2007 my position was at the Design Department. Where I was able to handle 3 to 4 office interior design projects at a time. Proposing different possible
distribution of workstations on a layout, private offices, conference rooms, raised floor,
modular carpeting, moveable walls, furniture and accessories; including quotation and
presentation of the proposal to the Sales Department for them to show to the client.
Deal with national and international suppliers and consult them with doubts about their
products and their quotation and drawing softwares.

Awards 

Architizer A+Award 2013, 1st Place

Architizer A+Award 2013 on the Architecture and Aging Category. The project was Chapel on a Hill. A project designed along with Estudio Santander for the AFV Competition in 2009 where we were called finalists amongst thousands of participants.

We received both jury and public vote awards.
