The BadSeed house by LIONarchitecture is in the midst of a hectic construction schedule. Three weeks ago the foundations were poured, and last weekend the North retaining wall was poured successfully. The formwork is due to be removed on Feb 10th - the South wall will be poured the following weekend... weather permitting of course.

"I am very proud to say that we got the north concrete wall successfully poured!!!  Hooray!!  This is a BIG DEAL.  Conditions were perfect.  The ground was frozen solid early in the morning so that the concrete trucks could get on the land without getting stuck.  On Saturday we will peel off the wooden forms and begin building out the mold for the south wall. We hope to pour it as soon as possible.  Once that happens we will build out the roof.  It is our hope to have a shell by spring planting in early March.  We've got a long road ahead but we're making progress."
