Washington-Lee High School

Washington-Lee High School is a LEED-GOLD certified, 4-story replacement high school for Arlington Public Schools. The design addresses the following goals:
• enhance the appearance to reflect important civic function and community role
• support and enhance educational program
• reflect the historical importance of the school to its students, faculty, alumni, and the Arlington County community
• organize traffic flow for pedestrians, small vehicles, busses, and deliveries to minimize impact on neighborhood traffic patterns and enhance safety and security
• provide adequate parking for school, stadium, ball fields, and pool
• design field and athletic facilities to significantly reduce the need for student crossing of Washington Boulevard.

• 20,000 s.f. natatorium
• 800 seat auditorium
• 16,000 s.f. gymnasium
• 2,500 s.f. flexible
