Hartshorne Plunkard Architecture is an architecture, planning and interior design firm that practices nationally from our Near North studio in Chicago. Since 1987, HPA has striven to deliver design interpretations that share a common sensibility toward placemaking. In collaborative partnership with our clients, our creative team develops inspired and timeless architecture that responds to the unique attributes of each project. On our engagements, we undertake a rigorous study of a place and its history, patterns, and strengths in order to develop design ideas that are infused into our buildings, making them feel like they belong and are authentic to their space.
