Friedman has served as Dean of the College of Built Environments at the University of Washington, and is currently a Professor of Architecture at the University of Washington. Prior to joining UW, he served as Director of the School of Architecture at the University of Illinois at Chicago, and as Director of the School of Architecture and Interior Design at the University of Cincinnati.</p></em><br /><br /><!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/REC-html40/loose.dtd">
