There are 2 formal procedures that define the building's disposition in site, at first sight they seem contradictory: The first one follows the regular and systemical pattern of reiterative pieces that compose the scholar center's program. The second one developes more freely to cover the singularity of the social integration program (culture, sports & services), and the particular shape of the plot in this part, with irregular borders and a steep inclination. We thought that between the  frontiers of this realities a gap opens, a gap that becomes a space for memory. The building implants burried in its terrain, leaving the roof at the most public level of the project and giving it a relation with the horizon, interior spaces are revealed as you start descending, a part of the structure is hidden beneath the terrain, and another one reveals itself as built mass, once again, we find oposite operations that define the relation between topography and program.
